I'm guessing samurai weren't vegan, but this modern day samurai ramen definitely is.
What really left an impression was how smooth and slurpy the noodles was. Perhaps it is because they used the stick-type noodles rather than the usual noodle cakes you usually see for instant noodles.
The sauce is not a lot, so be careful not to put too much water to boil and end up diluting the soup like yours truly.
There are two servings in each packet, so it would be ideal if you're eating with one other person.
The taste is not bad (I think). Since I made mine a little too dilute, I added a bit of soy sauce and sesame oil, and it tasted pretty good. The soup is also slightly spicy.
If you understand Japanese, have fun reading the Japanese instructions behind which are written in "samurai language" XD
I bought the samurai ramen from Iroha Mart at Plaza Singapura for SGD5.90.
